An older Asian woman has to beg for food in wealthy Hong Kong. Asian women were, and many still are, kept dependent by not being given an education or a livable salary for their work.
Even educated and experienced women are paid far less then men and are kept dependent on their fathers or husbands.
1 in 3 people on the planet is an Asian woman and the role of both Asia and women is growing fast. In our lifetime the growing role of Asian women will influence nearly every aspect of the world as we know it from religion & philosophy to business & politics.
So I am starting a long term project to share stories & photos about this largely over-looked 1/3 of the world
