This is the Sounkyo Area Map.

V= visitor center. The rangers there can answer trail questions and there are some photos and books to look at.

B = Bus Station

S = Seikomart, last stop for trail snacks. I suggest the 100Y pasta.

The start of the trail is a little hidden, but not hard to find if you are looking for it. The locals may tell you the trail is dangerous and say to take the ropeway. The trail is in safe, if you have the time i suggest taking the trail.

The 500Y hotspring is call Kuro Dake Onsen.
